Terms & Conditions

Last updated 31 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of Vokl, the AI voice booking service for taxi and private-hire operators (the "Service"), operated by Cabree LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("Vokl", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

1. The Service

Vokl provides an AI voice agent that answers an operator's booking line, converses with callers in natural language, estimates fares, and creates taxi bookings, together with a dashboard to review calls, transcripts, bookings, and customers, and to configure the agent. The Service is provided for business use by taxi operators.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be a business, or acting on behalf of one, and at least 18 years old.

3. Trials and fees

We may offer a free trial. Fees, billing cycles, and any trial length are as described at sign-up or in a separate order. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of VAT and are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Your responsibilities as an operator

Because Vokl answers calls and handles personal data on your behalf, you are responsible for:

  • Caller notice and consent — informing callers that calls are answered by an automated AI assistant and may be recorded and transcribed, and obtaining any consent required under applicable law (including UK privacy and electronic-communications rules).
  • Data protection — you are the controller of your callers' personal data and must have a lawful basis for processing it. We act as your processor for that data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Ensuring the bookings, fares, and service you deliver to your customers comply with the law and your own licences.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully, or to harass, defraud, or harm others.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to place or process calls or bookings you are not authorised to make.
  • Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

6. AI outputs and no guarantee of accuracy

The Service uses automated speech recognition and AI language models. These technologies can misunderstand speech, mis-hear details, or produce incorrect results. Fare figures are estimates, not quotes or contracts. You are responsible for reviewing bookings and maintaining appropriate human oversight of your operation. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what is required by law.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example Google, Deepgram, Cartesia, ElevenLabs, Supabase, and — where you connect it — Cabree dispatch). Their availability and performance are outside our control, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms. Where you supply your own provider API keys, you are responsible for those accounts and any charges they incur.

8. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own all rights in the Service, including its software, design, and branding. You retain rights in your own data. You grant us the limited rights needed to process your data to provide and improve the Service.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will use reasonable efforts to limit disruption.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, bookings, or data, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law, including claims by your callers or customers relating to your handling of their data or bookings.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified to operators. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
